Truth is Natural.

It is the truth. RZA, of the Wu Tang Clan, has recently teamed up with Alexander, of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, to add his flava onto Alex’s solo project single, “Truth.” The RZA, who is a beast producer, in and of himself, takes the back seat this time and simply lets Ebert’s jam ride untouched, and picks up in the end on top of the horn and simple drumbeat to spit some wisdom to us mere mortal listeners. Try to keep up with RZA’s rhymes and flow, for you will appreciate it. Two incredible musicians in there own right, RZA definitely shows his respect, especially to Alexander, who once wanted to be a rapper himself.

July 31, 2011 Wugazi – 13 Chambers

Up from the 36 Chambers…. This mashup album combines the music of the post-hardcore band, Fugazi, with the stylings of the infamous Wu-Tang Clan, to form the name, Wugazi. Unfamiliar with Fugazi’s music, I found this album to have some pretty well done and interesting mashups. The creators, Cecil Otter, an emcee and founding member of the rap group, Doomtree, & Swiss Andy, a musician and producer, fit these two very distinct groups together to make a very polished piece of work and threw it up on the internet to download for free.
